About Ulinzi

In Swahili, the word "ulinzi" means to protect, guard, defend or preserve.

And when you talk about our battle against breast cancer, early detection is the best protection.

The Ulinzi Walk is an important event aimed at increasing awareness about breast cancer and replacing fear with hope as participants from all walks of life across the country walk together in solidarity to face cancer; so that we can be equipped with what it takes to manage it as we join in the global search to find a cure. It is one step towards achieving the result from our goal: proactively addressing the burden of cancer in the region by making it everyone’s business. Together we can make a difference.
