About BCIEA

Breast Cancer Initiative East Africa Inc. (BCIEA Inc) is a nonprofit , 501(c)(3) grassroots organization founded by Philippa Kibugu-Decuir, a 16-year breast cancer survivor, in 2007.

Vision:  To spearhead the creation of a Breast Health Initiative that educates, nurtures, changes and saves lives drawing on the strength of East African women meanwhile collecting essential data for conducting research on the cure of breast cancer.

Mission:  To ensure that no patient faces breast cancer (or any cancer) fearfully and helplessly alone by providing care and support they need; while we also support and participate in the ongoing research to find the cure.
